According to Todorove stories begins with equilibrium where opposing forces are in balance. This theory simplified the idea of narrative theory but also complex flim texts with the theory of equilibrium and disequilibrium.
Narrative structure have five stages:
1) Exposition
2) Development
3) Complication
4) Climas
and
5) Resolution
Where as Todorove theory have three stages:
1) Equilibrium
2) Disequilibrium
and
3) Re- equilibrium.
