Primary and Secondary research

Primary research is a first hand research which is conducted by yourself alone without the help of any other resources. Some of the examples are questionnaire, observations and interviews. There has been a lot of primary research within our coursework.  List of topics that are based on primary research: cast notes, documentary analysis, questionnaire.

Secondary research is a second hand research where you get all the information from somewhere else. Some of the examples are the handouts given at lesson, library books, text books and internet. List of the topics that are based on secondary research: genre research, rule of third and audience research.
