Expository mode- speaks to the audience directly and it addresses social issues, it is very factual and argumentative. Our documentary will have a clear for and against argument and will be addressing the audience directly.
Participatory mode- documentary is very interview based it involves the filmer asking a lot of questions and being part of the final production. Our documentary consists of four interviews where at least five questions are asked each time.
Reflexive mode- deals with issues of realism and representation, it acknowledges the presence of the viewer. Our documentary is about graffiti it is a real issue at the time and again the documentary will addresses the viewer acknowledging their presence.
